What we collect
We may collect your name, email address, whether you are a student, parent, teacher or another visitor, the student’s year level, and any information you include in an enquiry. If you later enrol in a service, additional information needed to provide that service will be explained before collection.
How we collect and use it
We collect information directly when you join the English Studio launch list, submit an enquiry, email us or otherwise communicate with us. We use it to answer questions, provide requested launch and enrolment updates, understand interest in our services, operate our education services and meet legal obligations.
Who receives it
We may use service providers that help us operate the website, process forms, host data, send email or deliver English Studio. Website form submissions are currently processed by FormSubmit and delivered to david@thecampus.au. We disclose only the information reasonably needed for those providers to perform their services, or where required by law.
Overseas processing
Some technology providers may store or process information outside Australia. Their infrastructure and processing locations can change, so it may not be practicable to identify every country. Contact us if you would like more information about the providers relevant to your information.
Launch updates and opting out
If you join the launch list, we will use your email for English Studio launch and enrolment updates. You can opt out at any time by replying to an email or contacting david@thecampus.au.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. We retain information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose collected, our records and any legal obligations.
Students and younger visitors
English Studio is intended for senior secondary students. Parents or guardians should assist younger students with enquiries where appropriate. Please do not submit sensitive information through the general website forms.
Access, correction and deletion
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction or ask us to delete information we no longer need. Email david@thecampus.au.
Questions or complaints
Send privacy questions or complaints to david@thecampus.au. We will acknowledge the concern and respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied and the Privacy Act applies, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
